Taste of the West - GOLD award winners - 2012!Taste of the West support local food producers and food and tourism outlets throughout the South West of England, and we are very proud to have been awarded Gold in their 'Hospitality' section. The award was given after a 'mystery shopper' visit, so it must mean we do things right most of the time! We should also say that some of our home-made preserves have won awards, both Silver and Bronze, during 2012.

We spent a long weekend with Mary and Nick in their beautiful home and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of their hospitality. We have already passed their details on to friends who we feel sure would enjoy it as much as we did.

From the moment we arrived we where made to feel at home. Our room was clean and bright; the breakfast was very good indeed with plenty of choice, and marys home made bread was just great!

An overnight stop as we were visiting friends nearbly. We chose the Belgrave for location and price, and certainly hit the jackpot here. Lovely welcome, splended breakfast with home produced eggs & homemade bread & preserves.Brenda (August 2011)
